Once grounded, the Harpy's combat style evolves. She now has access to two different types of attacks:

    Leaping Kick – The Harpy leaps into the air and performs a devastating kick at a player. This move is fast and can easily hit unprepared adventurers if they don't anticipate the Harpy's position.     Feather Fan Throw – The Harpy spreads its wings and shoots a barrage of feather-like projectiles in a wide arc. These feathers resemble thrown knives and can inflict damage over a large area. Both the Leaping Kick and Feather Fan Throw are dodgeable by side-strafing. It's important to pay attention to the Harpy's movements, as getting hit by either of these moves will deal significant damage. After dodging, you have a brief opening to strike back.

Elite Harpy

As with most Dark and Darker enemies, the Harpy's difficulty increases in the Elite version. This variant behaves similarly to the Normal Harpy, but with several notable differences: it deals more damage, attacks with greater speed, and has more health. The added health makes this version a longer fight, requiring more resources or team coordination to defeat.

Elite Harpies can also be much more aggressive in their attack patterns. Their flying lunges are harder to predict, and their land-based attacks have quicker follow-up moves. Elite Harpies are often found in the deeper sections of the Ruins or as part of special event bosses, where they're meant to challenge players looking to earn high-value rewards.

Nightmare Harpy

At the most extreme difficulty, the Nightmare Harpy stands as a test of skill, patience, and preparation. This version of the Harpy is significantly stronger than the Elite variant, with boosted damage, faster action speeds, and increased movement speed. The Nightmare Harpy's health is also much higher, making the fight even more grueling.

What sets the Nightmare Harpy apart is its relentless aggression and the sheer speed at which it attacks. It moves quickly through the air and can reposition in an instant, making it difficult for melee players to land consistent hits. Its lunging kicks and leaping attacks come with little warning, and the Feather Fan Throw can be overwhelming if players aren't fast enough to dodge. In addition, the Nightmare variant uses its agility to corner players more effectively, often forcing them into tight spaces where their evasion options are limited.
