The Path of Exile 3.27 update introduces a wide range of item adjustments that touch everything from minion-focused modifiers to projectile mechanics, spell suppression, and weapon base stats. These changes reflect Grinding Gear Games' ongoing effort to keep the game's balance fresh while giving players clearer item choices and more meaningful gear progression. Many of the tweaks feel small on the surface, but together they gently shift the meta and open up new ways to build characters PoE 1 Currency.

One of the more noticeable changes is the update to the Essence of Fear modifier on helmets. Instead of offering increased Minion Accuracy Rating, the mod now grants increased Minion Damage. This simple swap gives minion builds more offensive power and makes the affected helmets more attractive for summoners. Since minion builds already rely on scaling damage rather than worrying much about accuracy, this adjustment helps reinforce their strengths and nudges more players toward experimenting with different minion setups.

The Runegraft of Recompense has also gone through a significant redesign and now carries a new name: Runegraft of Refraction. Before the update, it provided a mana recovery mechanic that rewarded players for having unused chains when projectiles ended. The new version changes the playstyle entirely. It limits skills to firing a single projectile but adds chaining and forking mechanics to improve coverage and spread damage more effectively. This pushes the runegraft toward builds that want wide-reaching projectile interactions rather than those concerned with resource management, and it introduces new combinations for players who enjoy creative projectile builds.

Redeemer Amulets received a noteworthy buff as well. Their modifier that prevents a portion of suppressed spell damage has increased from a maximum of 2% to a new range of 3–5%. While the numbers seem small, this upgrade makes a real difference for characters that rely on spell suppression for survivability. More importantly, existing amulets can be brought up to the new values with a Divine Orb, so players don't have to start from scratch to benefit from the improvement.

Delve-specific item drops also saw some refinement. Rings that granted increased Skill Effect Duration for Curse Skills have been removed from the Delve loot pool, preventing players from stacking extended curse durations through these items. This change reins in some curse-based strategies in Delve and encourages players to reshape their approach to curse mechanics, especially in deeper, more challenging layers.

A number of weapon base types—especially wands and daggers—have also been adjusted. Some wand bases, such as Carved Wand, Engraved Wand, and Imbued Wand, can no longer be obtained, though any that currently exist remain unchanged. Many wands and daggers experienced reductions in their base critical strike chance. For example, Accumulator, Assembler, and Congregator Wands now sit at 8.5%, while others like Coiled and Crystal Wands drop from 9% to 8%. Daggers across the board received similar reductions, with a few exceptions where certain bases gained minor boosts or had their attack speed adjusted. These tweaks aim to smooth out critical strike balance across weapon categories so that no single type becomes excessively dominant.

Heist Rogue Gear also received an update: the modifier that grants increased experience gain for the equipped rogue can no longer roll. Existing items with the mod still work as they always have, but players won't be able to find new versions of this stat going forward. This shifts the value of rogue gear away from passive experience gains and toward more functional or balanced affixes.

The 3.27 item changes form a broad but thoughtful recalibration of several key systems in Path of Exile. Summoners see a subtle boost, projectile users get new tools, and critical strike builds must rethink some weapon choices buy PoE Currency. Content-specific changes in Delve and Heist help refine those modes without disrupting the overall game. These adjustments encourage players to revisit their builds and experiment with fresh ideas, continuing the cycle of adaptation and discovery that keeps Path of Exile engaging season after season.
