Armor and Best Builds

First up, the T65 armor paint fix is in place, now correctly listing it as for the T65 armor. This isn't the most exciting update, but it's a good quality-of-life improvement. Additionally, there's a fix for an issue where liking or unliking a Best Build could cause inconsistent text for the button. Now we can move on to more exciting stuff!

Camp and Workshop Updates

One of the highlights in this update is the improvement to pet spawns. Pets will no longer get stuck at the borders of camps, which should make managing your camp a bit smoother. There’s also a fix for an issue where some players could no longer build the M safety cutout, even when they had the plan. Another minor fix is that the vertical spacing between Camp slots in the menu has been adjusted for better readability. There were also several minor building and placement fixes, including an issue with the plastiform blue star, which could now be built correctly in camps.

Bottle Cap Machine Fixes

A major fix has been made to the counterfeit bottle cap machine. It will now generate lead and aluminum as intended and will no longer share a build limit with the wood pile. If you've been struggling with this bug, hopefully, your machine will be back to functioning properly.

Creature and Event Fixes

Some creature fixes have been made as well. The Scorched Beast and Scorched Beast Queen can no longer continuously fire their Sonic Blast attack, which should make these encounters a little less frustrating. Additionally, during the Seismic Activity event, the corpse of the Ultracite Titan will now despawn properly before the next run.

Gleaming Depths Updates

In the Gleaming Depths raid, there are a few notable fixes. The electricity hazard on top of the EN6 Guardians platform will now activate sooner and cover a larger area. Power armor frames remain your best bet for taking on this challenge. A bug where the Epsilon Squad trophy wasn’t being granted to players who completed the fight within the time limit has been fixed as well.

Mutation Suppression

Mutation suppression has been added to the descriptions of Rad-X and Rad-X Diluted. Previously, only Rad-X suppressed mutations in the game, but now both versions should do so, with the description now reflecting that change.

Quest and Weapon Fixes

There have been several fixes for quest progression. For instance, an issue in The Old Western Shuffle quest, where Johnny wouldn’t shoot at the end, has been resolved. Similarly, fixes have been made for Hunter for Ha and Novis of Mysteries, where characters like Rer and Jacky were unresponsive to quest actions.

Weapon fixes include an updated description for the Lick Split weapon, now correctly stating that it can cause damage with the Railway Spike shutter and Ricochet effects. Additionally, the iconic baseball bat is back with the correct textures and colors!

Miscellaneous Fixes and UI Improvements

A number of smaller fixes have been made across the game. For example, Nuclear Winter player icons have been restored, and the mutated party packs now drop correctly after completing the mutated version of the Safe and Sound quest. There are also some minor UI improvements, such as better descriptions for lunchbox effects and improved ammo displays.

Overall, this update is full of smaller fixes that improve various aspects of Fallout 76, including camp building, creature behavior, quest progression, and weapon descriptions. The biggest change for many will be the fixes in the Gleaming Depths raid, where the Guardian's electric field is now expanded, making it more difficult to solo. Power armor remains crucial, so be sure to equip it when tackling these challenges.

While this update doesn’t bring any major new features, it addresses a lot of issues that have been plaguing the game, making it a solid patch. Players can expect more significant updates down the line, especially with legendary mod boxes possibly coming in March.
