Interesting facts about the Ostankino TV tower

One of the symbols of Russia and Moscow is the Ostankino TV tower. For many years, it has maintained its position as the tallest in Europe. cable-stayed radio and television mast in Vinnitsa (Ukraine, 354 m, 1961);
TV and radio broadcasting tower in Slonim (Belarus, 350 m at the time of construction, 1965).
The Ostankino Tower was planned to be more grandiose. The total height of the TV and radio tower is 540 meters and 10 cm. It consists of the height of the main structure, equal to 533 m, and a 7-meter flagpole.
