U4GM Arc Raiders Explains Where Toasters Spawn

Find Toasters in Arc Raiders fast with the best Residential loot routes, from Ruby Residence to Blue Gate Village, plus smart cabinet checks and Safe Pocket tips.

Toasters are one of those silly little objects that suddenly matter a lot in Arc Raiders. At first, you'll probably walk past one without thinking, then later you're back in a raid kicking yourself because the Refiner upgrade needs three of them. That level two Refiner opens the door to Advanced Mechanical Components and Advanced Electrical Components, so it's tied pretty closely to better crafting and a smoother start. If you're planning your early upgrades around ARC Raiders Items, don't treat Toasters like random trash. They're a small item, sure, but they can hold up your whole Workshop for longer than you'd like.

Search homes, not factories

The big mistake people make is looking in the wrong kind of place. Toasters belong to Residential loot pools. That means kitchens, flats, small houses, village rooms, and the sort of places where you'd expect somebody to have left breakfast behind. Industrial buildings can be tempting because they're full of containers, but they're usually a waste of time for this job. Check cupboards. Open drawers. Look on counters, then look inside the furniture too. A quick sweep from the doorway isn't enough. Sometimes the item is tucked in a cabinet you nearly skipped, and that's the one you needed.

Ruby Residence is the easy first route

If you want a steady farm without turning every run into a war story, Ruby Residence on Dam Battlegrounds is a good place to start. It sits up in the north-west and has several apartment spaces packed close together. That's useful because you can move from kitchen to kitchen without crossing half the map. It's not empty, of course. No place is. But compared with bigger landmarks, it often feels less chaotic. Go in light, move fast, and don't spend five minutes sorting your bag in the middle of a hallway. Hit the cabinets, check the benches, grab what matters, then leave before the noise draws company.

Bigger spots bring better chances and more trouble

The Village in The Blue Gate is another strong option, especially if you like looting house after house in one run. There are plenty of kitchens, which means more rolls at the loot table. The catch is the danger. ARC patrols can make the place miserable if you arrive with weak weapons or no plan. Buried City has Grandioso Apartments, which can also pay off nicely when you spawn close by. I wouldn't cross the whole map for it every time, though. Players love Buried City, and not always in a friendly way. If shots start popping off nearby, don't get greedy over one more cupboard.

Keep the first three safe

Once you actually find a Toaster, put it in your Safe Pocket right away. Don't wait until your bag is tidy. Don't think, "I'll do it after this room." Just move it. Getting wiped after finding one feels bad, but losing it because it sat in your normal inventory feels worse. After you've banked three and pushed the Refiner to level two, the whole early crafting path opens up a bit. Extra Toasters can still be worth keeping for recycling or later requirements, but they stop feeling like a curse. From there, you can focus more on building proper ARC Raiders gear and less on raiding every kitchen like a desperate landlord.
